Homeless Organizing For Power
We are offering this personal safety program to individuals that have suffered domestic violence, sexual assault & other issues that pertain to the homeless. Homeless men & women around the nation are particularly vulnerable to hate crimes against them because they represent an easy , visible and susceptible target. This is a brutal reality associated with those living on the streets, because they often lack a place to retreat for safety and protection. This program is taught at the men's and women's shelters.
